

Mike Uhrich specializes in the sale and leasing of Office/Retail transactions in the Greater Phoenix area of Arizona. The first three of his 7 years in commercial real estate were spent primarily in leasing and owner/user sales. During this time, Mike facilitated 127 transactions for property owners around the valley and has honed his market knowledge through first hand representation of regional and national tenants.
Mike attended college at Brigham Young University – Idaho, where he majored in their business program with an emphasis in marketing. Also during this time, Mike was a starter on the defensive line during their nationally ranked seasons of 1993-1996, of which he was a defensive team captain during their undefeated season of 1994. After a 2 year LDS mission, and undergraduate work at the University of Phoenix in Business/Marketing, Mike began his employment for the IBM Corporation in their newly launched “Partner Choice” program. In this capacity Mike cultured relationships with Government entities, specializing in “ThinkPad” technology sales, and helped negotiate multi million dollar computer hardware contracts with long term perspectives. Mike was lured away from IBM to work for a successful internet startup in Scottsdale during the dot.com craze, which was eventually purchased by Thompson Learning. It was at this time that Mike decided to act upon his life-long fascination with real estate. Eventually, Mike joined Sperry Van Ness, one of the nation's largest real estate investment companies.
In 2004 Mike was recognized as one of Sperry Van Ness’ top producing leasing advisors, and was promoted to Senior Advisor in the Phoenix office. He was also a top 10 agent for Sperry Van Ness’ Asset Management & Leasing division nationally while growing his 3rd party leasing portfolio to over 1.6 million square feet of space, including one of Phoenix's largest 3rd party assignments in 2004: The 470,000 square foot "Bell Towne Centre." Soon after, Mike was invited to join Sperry Van Ness’ elite team of investment advisors where he was awarded over $42,000,000 in retail & office investment listings, one of the most notable being the Willow Center on the NEC of McDowell Road and 7th Avenue, in Phoenix.
In 2006, Mike was lured to join Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate's development/brokerage services division where he has flourished as a member of the top brokerage team, sharing sales in excess of over $153,000,000.00. Mike was awarded the Westgate Office Lofts development, which was Arizona's largest and most exciting new office condo development of 2007- adjacent to the Arizona Cardinal's Stadium and Phoenix Coyote's arena. In 2008, Mike was presented with one of the most prestigious honors that Prudential Commercial Real Estate can bestow across the country- The National Leading Edge Society Award- for his business performance and profitability. Additionally, Mike was recognized as a member of Prudential CRES’ top office team for the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2008.
In 2007 Mike was appointed Co-chairman of the Arizona Department of Real Estate's public committee which was assembled to evaluate the department's infrastructure, Arizona statutes, and department innovation. He has volunteered personal time as a Big Brother for the Big Brother/Big Sisters organization of Arizona, as well as The National Association for Community and Justice's "Anytown Arizona" program. In his spare time Mike plays the piano for his 15-piece big band, “The Red Mountain Big Band” jazz orchestra, but more importantly enjoys spending time with his wife Jaime and 2 children, Jett & Rach.
